Despite this, he thinks of himself as a “cool” guy and continues to see the good in all people, even those that most others would stay far away from. Not everyone appreciates his high energy and expressiveness, which may be why he’s not as well-liked by the townspeople as his brother, Sans. Papyrus is passionate about his interests. Personality… flamboyant, confident, and kind. As Papyrus says, “I will be the one! I must be the one! Papyrus wants to be loved by all his fellow monsters, but he doesn’t show particular interest in finding romance. What Papyrus lacks in skill, he makes up for in enthusiasm. Interests… making puzzles and cooking spaghetti. However, the head of the royal guard, Undyne, thinks he’s too kind to fill the position. Papyrus’ dream is to become popular and loved by everyone by joining the human-hunting group, the royal guard. Unfortunately, it seems like he’ll be in training forever. Even though the townsfolk are friendly to him, Papyrus can feel lonely. This may be why most of the townspeople find him strange and prefer his more relaxed brother. Papyrus’ fanaticism clashes with the generally laidback attitude of the townspeople. Living… with his brother, Sans, in the calm town of Snowdin. ![]()
